The Mercedes Project

This project was a little bigger and took some time.
A 1972 Mercedes Benz 250 CE. In my opinion a
beautiful car which was up for restoration.

I worked on it with the help of friends but since we're not
really professionals, this takes a lot of time we actually
don't have. The job is now finally...almost done and I guess
it looks quite acceptable.

For perfectionists there's still some work to do but it's
definitely ready to ride. Unfortunately lacking of time
and space, this car will be for sale soon.

The Heavy Load Pioneer SA 9500 II

The Pioneer SA 9500 II

Better late than never I'm back with this heavy beauty.
It's a Pioneer SA 9500 MKII stereo amplifier.
The front and knobs are made of aluminum and the case is all metal.

This model was built in the late 70ies. After refurbishing
it works again perfectly and the sound quality is awesome.

It has enough power and is even affordable considering the
quality and beauty. You just need to be lucky to find one.

The Lucky Found Rollei 35 S

The Lucky Found

This blog is about a passion for old and vintage gadgets and devices.
It's not about brands, it's more about the beautyof the item itself.
That is why i'd like to place here some lucky founds of mine and prefer
to show these, sometimes rare beauties, in pictures.

My first piece i'd like to present is as well my latest. I'm talking about
a Rollei 35 S mechanical Photo camera from the late 60ies.

With this cam i was super lucky, found it in a second hand store

for only 10 Swiss Francs. Only works, of course if  they dont know
what they're actually selling....lol.

The amazing thing is that this cam has about the size of a pack of
cigarettes.....not bad for a fully mechanical camera.

I don't want to talk much about the features, just enjoy looking at it.
